ABOUT US

FluidFrame Lab is a multidisciplinary research group under the Mechanical Engineering department and UNAM at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey directed by Dr. Luca Biancofiore. The group’s main focus is on developing theoretical and numerical modelling in fluid dynamics. Furthermore these models are applied to several fields such as multiphase flows, phase-changing flows, complex fluids, tribology and active matter. FluidFrame Lab cooperates (or cooperated in the past) with researchers from several prestigious institutions in different countries such as Imperial College London, EPFL, Gothenburg University, ETH-Zurich, Tel Aviv University, University of Rome – La Sapienza, Koç University, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Queensland University of Technology, Polytechnic University of Bari, Bayreuth University, University of Genova,  NASA Ames Research Center, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, CNR – Messina and University of Savoy Mont Blanc.
