If you join a zoom meeting with a different account name or email (e.g., xtfgl@barp.net), the host (teacher) might have trouble understanding who you are. This could be a problem for any attendance and participation requirements.
You can set yourself an understandable name when joining the meeting and during the meeting at any time, from the participants window:
Set Your Name when Joining Meeting

Set Name during Meeting

Now, enjoy the recognition and reputation that comes from using your “own good name” 🙂
